Women’s Missions Groups

Our Women’s Mission Groups gather once a month to learn about missionaries, fellowship, and also actively participate in missions. We have three groups, and each is unique. Try them all!

  • Green Abell Group

    This group is named after two missionaries. They meet the 2nd Monday of the month at 2:00 pm in the conference room. They usually go to lunch before gathering at church.

  • Kim Wyatt Group

    This group is named after a missionary currently serving in NC with refugees. They meet the 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:00 pm in the conference room.

  • Charistix Chix

    This is a group is for women who love to meet practical needs through their talents of sewing and creating. They meet the 3rd Friday of the month at 10:00 am in the choir room.

Examples of things we’ve done in the past.

Charistix Chix made blankets and pillowcases for medically fragile children.

We sponsored a church-wide collection of money to buy all sizes of bikes and helmets for children at the Northside Outreach Center for Christmas.

We sponsored a church-wide collection of formula for the Pregnancy Resource Center.
